W. Maureen McCabe Paulson

W. Maureen Paulson, 86, of Hanover Township, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2022.
Born October 29, 1936 in Hanover Township she was a daughter of the late Francis J. and Catherine Glennon McCabe.
Maureen was a 1954 graduate of Hanover High School.
In 1975, when her five children were school-age, she began her career as a secretary for Community Counseling Services while also waitressing on weekends at various restaurants. She retired from her supervisory position after thirty-one years with CCS in 2006. In her retirement, she enjoyed the sunshine and brightness of spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her sisters, Patricia Scavone, and Catherine McCabe, preceded her in death.
Her children James and his wife Betty Paulson of Shavertown, Linda Paulson of Hanover Township, Jeffrey Paulson and Jennifer of Mountain Top, Lori and her husband Mike Robinson of Oklahoma, and Greg and his wife Mollie Paulson of Mountain Top; grandchildren Meghan, Brittany, Breanna, Kyle, Deven, and Connor Paulson; great-grandchildren Emma and Ella Keiling; brother James and his wife Maureen McCabe of Blue Bell; sister Rita McCabe of Hanover Township; nieces, nephews, other family and friends will miss her very much.
Celebration of Maureen's Life begins Wednesday, December 28, 2022, with visitation from 5 to 7 PM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. It continues on Thursday, December 29, 2022, with a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of Saint Aloysius, Barney and Division Streets in Wilkes-Barrre.
