Steven Morris, 64, a native of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family in New York City on Sunday, November 25, 2018.
Born November 21, 1954 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late James and Catherine Tibbett Morris.
Steve was employed by the Visiting Nurse Association in Wilkes-Barre and Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona before retiring.
A brother, James, preceded him in death.
Steve will be greatly missed by his brother, William of New York; sisters, Gail Morris and Leslie Morris George of Wilkes-Barre, and Diane Garinger of Tucson; nieces and nephews; his soulmate, Patricio Burbano of Quito, Ecuador; other family and friends.
Celebration of Steve's Life will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 with visitation beginning at 2 PM and a time of remembrance beginning at 3 PM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to the charity of your preference.
