Ruth C. Gavin, 91, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Born August 10, 1931 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Hulek Kuhl.
Ruth was a member of the ILGWU and worked in the Wyoming Valley garment industry before retiring.
Her sister Dorothy Swan and brother Robert Kuhl preceded her in death.
Her son Robert T. Gavin, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Wilkes-Barre; daughter Mary Louise and her husband Stephen Lorusso of Waynesboro; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister Eleanor Loftus of York; other family and friends will miss her very much.
Celebration of Ruth's Life takes place Tuesday, February 21, 2023, with a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of Saint Nicholas, 226 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
