It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mikiko (Mori) Walsh, who left us peacefully on July 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada, after a beautifully lived life.
Born in Tokunoshima, Japan, on January 18, 1940, she was the daughter of Shigeshi and Meto Mori. After moving to the United States in 1972, Mikiko became an avid bowler, puzzle solver, and the life of every party. A gifted cook and talented seamstress, she generously shared her talents with everyone around her.
Mikiko will be reunited with her son, Andy, and her siblings: Shinako, Isao, Yumiko, Hitoshi, and Susumu. She is survived by her son, Chris; daughter-in-law, Angelica; granddaughter, Annie; sister, Yuriko; and brother, Masaru.
To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor at the Chapel at Saint Mary's Cemetery, 1594 South Main Street in Hanover Township, at 1 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.
