Mary Patricia Rundle, 80, of Mountain Top, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on January 1, 2026.
Born November 23, 1945 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Donald Philip and Mary Agnes Elmy Dailey.
Mary retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center after thirty-nine years as a nursing assistant and eligibility clerk.
Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends, with many Bingo outings, winery tours, trips to Atlantic City, and all the activities of the Red Hats.
Her sister, Margaret Kuhns, and brother, Butch Dailey, preceded her in death.
Her husband Otz Rundle; daughters Kathy Rundle of Mountain Top and Patty and her husband Richard Fisher of Arizona; grandchildren Colin Fisher and his fianceé Bailey Denbow of Virginia, Nathan Fisher and his partner Emily Piche of Virginia, Mark Fisher and his girlfriend Erika Wharton of Toronto, and Sara and her husband Matt Gehrke of Virginia; sisters, Sharon and her husband Paul Carpenter of Maryland, Donna and her husband Bob Pattison of Florida, and Joann Dailey of Maryland; nieces, nephews, other family and friends will miss her very much.
Celebration of Mary's Life takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Afternoon visitation is from 3 to 5 PM, and evening visitation is from 7 to 9 PM, including a service and time for sharing at 8 PM.
Donations to the American Heart Association, heart.org , or the Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org , are preferred and will honor Mary's memory.
