Kathryn Dorrance, 98, of Wilkes-Barre passed away peacefully on October 31 at Little Flower Manor.
Born in Swoyersville she lived most of her life in the Wilkes-Barre area and in Piscataway, New Jersey.
Her first husband, Sylvester McCafferty, second husband, Stanley Dorrance and an infant son, Robert
McCafferty preceded her in death.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Dolores McCafferty of Wilkes-Barre and son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Mary McCafferty of Alexandria, Virginia; grandchildren, Christopher McCafferty of Junction, Oregon and Colleen Carroll of Davidsonville, Maryland; great-grandchildren, Liam and Rees Carroll; several nieces and nephews.
Her entire family is grateful to the nurses and staff of Little Flower Manor for the care provided to Kathryn.
Celebration of Kathryn’s Life will be held Tuesday with a Funeral Mass at 9 AM in the Chapel at Little Flower Manor, 200 South Meade Street in Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Hanover Township.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel at Little Flower Manor on Tuesday from 8 to 9 AM.
