Joseph Patrick Ward

Joseph Patrick Ward, 56, of Drums died Tuesday, September 19, 2017.

Born January 30, 1961 in Levittown he was a son of Marjorie Ann Finn Ward of Drums and the late Thomas Michael Ward.

A graduate of Bishop Hoban High School, Joe had a long career as an owner-operator long distance truck driver. He was presently employed in trucking in the northern gas field territories.

Joe will be greatly missed by his mother, Marjorie; his children, Allan, Joseph, Matthew, Amy Jo, Christopher, Collin and Caitlyn; six grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Thomas Ward, Mary Collette Miller, Raymond Ward, Patrick Ward, Shawn Ward and Kathleen Williams; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Celebration of Joe’s Life will begin Friday with visitation from 5 to 8 PM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre and continue there on Saturday with gathering at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
