Joseph M. Malesky, 78, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away at his home on October 29, 2026.

Born October 11, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Julie Bly Malesky.

Joseph was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School. He was a data processing manager for United Penn Bank and Celtex Industries before retiring.

Joseph enjoyed spending time with family, especially his nieces and nephews, and loved the Bly Family Reunions.His brothers William and Robert Malesky, infant sister Mary, and his sister and brother-in-law Kathleen and John Ziomek, preceded him in death.

His brothers John and his wife Rita Malesky of Olyphant and James Malesky of Harrisburg; sister Mary and her husband Dennis Mazonkey of Mountain Top; nieces, nephews, other family and friends will miss him very much.

Celebration of Joseph's Life takes place on Monday, November 2, 2026. Visitation begins at 8:30 AM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM in the Church of the Parish of Saint Andrew on Parrish Street in Wilkes-Barre.
