Irene Mullen, 94, of Wilkes-Barre died Wednesday morning.
Born in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Amandies and Alice Connolly Norton.
Irene dedicated most of her life to caring for her family.
Her husband, Dennis A. Mullen; children, Judith Mullen, Robert Mullen and Maureen Cook; and sisters, Shirley Gordon and Dorothy Stefanovich preceded her in death.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Ann and her husband Mark Breymeier of Garnet Valley; grandchildren, Steven and Dennis Cook and Noah Breymeier; and great grandchildren, Alexandra and Jeremy Cook.
Celebration of Irene’s Life will be held Friday with visitation from 8 to 9 AM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
