Celine J. Setzer McGlynn, 86, of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026.

Celine was born in Mildred, Pennsylvania, on June 14, 1940, to the late Albert Miles Setzer and Rose Bishop Setzer.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John McGlynn; three brothers; seven sisters; several sisters and brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

Celine is survived by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will remember her fondly.

Her niece and nephew, Deborah and Bruce Stanley, lovingly cared for her, and their kindness and devotion meant so much to her.

Celine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest peacefully.

Celebration of Celine’s Life takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11 AM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
