Wayne A. Wallace, 75, passed away at his home in Hanover Township on Monday, December 14, 2020.
Born February 20, 1945 in Pittston he was a son of the late Samuel and Helen Strubeck Wallace.
A graduate of Pittston High School, Wayne served our country as a soldier of the Army.
Wayne worked for the Greater Hanover Area School District in the shipping and receiving department, and as a member of E.S.P., before retiring. He previously worked for Asplundh and Sordoni Construction, and operated his own auto repair garage for many years.
Brothers, Robert and Carl Wallace, preceded him in death.
His wife, the former Mary Ryan; daughters, Wendy and her husband Thomas Delese of Freeland, and Tracy and her husband Dan Schooley of Plains Township; step children, Christopher and his wife Alicia McAnney, Michele and her husband Paul Forlenza, Ryan McAnney and his fiancee Jill Price, and Meighan McAnney; fourteen grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Liskosky, Beverly Bernaskas, and Helen Mesaros; nieces, nephews, other family and friends will miss him much.
A walk through visitation will be held from 12 to 2 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
Mask and social distancing protocols will be in effect.
Please remember Wayne through a donation to a Red Kettle of The Salvation Army. They held a special place in his heart. A Red Kettle will be present during the visitation on Saturday.
