Thomas Mark Wilkie

Thomas Mark Wilkie, 54, of Wilkes-Barre went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday.

Born 07 October 1954 in Wilkes-Barre he was a son of the late Harry L. and Margaret Weiner Wilkie.

A 1972 graduate of West Side Central Catholic High School, Tom earned his bachelors degree from King's College in 1976.

Tom enjoyed being with his family, reading, especially the Bible, feeding the animals and following the Yankees.

Brothers, Harry, Jr., Robert, Jerry and Alan and a sister, Judy Wilkie Nealon preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, the former Jane Gladfelter:
Children, Matthew, Nicole, Anthony and Stephanie Wilkie
Brother, Joseph Carl Wilkie and sisters, Margaret Wilkie and Karen Wilkie McManus

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held Friday at 8 PM at McLaughlin Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.

Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM

Tom's family thanks all of his caregivers over the past thirteen years, in particular the staff of Hospice Community Care and Dr. Stephen Evans.
