Sharon Ann Williams, RN, 69, of Hanover Township, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
Born December 24, 1952 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Earl and Mary Anne Homa Sibert.
Sharon was a 1970 graduate of Saint Nicholas High School. She continued her education in the nursing program at LCCC.
Sharon was a registered nurse at Einstein Medical Center and the Children's Seashore House at CHOP in Philadelphia before finding her passion for hospice care. She retired from nursing with Hospice St. John.
Her son John Jess Williams, Jr., and infant daughter Jill Ann Marie Williams, preceded her in death.
Her longtime companion and life partner John P. Conwell, Jr.; daughter Jennifer L. Perrin and her husband Adam of Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren Jeremy, Devin, Jimmy, Grace, Chance, Darren, Faith, and Jesslynn; sisters Valerie Schley of Wisconsin and Cynthia Harris of Florida; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will miss her very much.
Sharon's entire family is grateful for the loving and compassionate she received from the staff of Life Geisinger and Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
Celebration of Sharon's Life begins Monday, December 19, 2022, with visitation from 5 to 7 PM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. It continues there on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, with gathering at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in the Church of Saint Nicholas.
