Robert J. Loftus, 49, of Mountain Top, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
Born February 9, 1973, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lorraine Cavan Loftus, Wilkes-Barre.
A graduate of Meyers High School and King's College, Bob was an account executive for WNEP-TV for seventeen years. Before this, he worked for 98.5 KRZ and Magic 93 for many years. He was a lifelong parishioner of the former Church of Saint Therese in Wilkes-Barre.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles, particularly his aunt and godmother, Jule Loftus Plotkin.
Surviving are his wife, Toni Marie; daughters Lilyana (Lily) and Lorraine (Lainey); brother Joseph, Mountain Top; uncle and aunt, Raymond Loftus and Marilyn Hiris, New York City; his in-laws, Mary and Paul Filipczyk, Mountain Top; sisters-in-law Sherrie (Thomas) Casey and Tracy Schmidt, Mountain Top; a niece, nephews, and several cousins.
Bob's family celebrated his life privately with a Funeral Mass in the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Plains.
