Mary Silic, 90, formerly of Yeager Avenue in Shavertown died Thursday at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth.
Born 24 July 1918 in Shavertown she was a daughter of the late Michael and Julia Volashinsky Silic.
She was preceded in death by brothers.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM from McLaughlin Family Funeral Service 142 South Washington Street Wilkes-Barre with the celebration of the Office of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Saint Mary's Protection Church, 321 Chestnut Avenue, Kingston. Interment will be in Saint Nicholas Cemetery, Shavertown.
