Marie Rose Preston, 84, formerly of Southview Manor in Wilkes-Barre died Sunday at Timber Ridge.
Born June 22, 1925 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret Judge Preston.
Before retiring Marie was a sales associate at Pomeroy’s in Downtown Wilkes-Barre.
Ms. Preston was a member of the Parish of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception.
Marie had a kind heart and was deeply devoted to her parents and family.
A sister, Dorothy Keblish and brothers, Joseph and Thomas Preston preceded her in death.
She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of Marie’s Life will be held Thursday at 9 AM from McLaughlin’s Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM in the Church of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception. Entombment will be in Saint Mary’s Mausoleum in Hanover Township.
Visitation will be held at McLaughlin’s on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM.
