Marie Hahn

Marie Hahn, 87, a resident of Mercy Center Assisted Living in Dallas died Monday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
Born May 5, 1923 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late William and Marie Fischer Hahn.
Marie attended St. Nicholas High School, Wilkes-Barre and was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Business College.
Miss Hahn was a bookkeeper for the former Globe Furniture Store in Wilkes-Barre for many years prior to her retirement upon its closing in 1996.
A former resident of Washington Square in Wilkes-Barre, Marie was a member of the Parish of Saint Nicholas and its Altar and Rosary Society.
A brother, William Hahn, preceded her in death.
She will be sadly missed by her friends and family, including her sister, Rita and her husband John Borucki of Shavertown; niece, Elizabeth and her husband Robert Mattioli; nephews, William and Michael Hahn and several great-nieces and -nephews.
Celebration of Marie’s Life will be held Friday at 10:30 AM from McLaughlin's Family Funeral Service, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre with Funeral Mass at 11 AM in Church of Saint Nicholas. Interment will be in Mount Greenwood Cemetery in Trucksville.
