Larry Gwynn of Wilkes-Barre passed away at his home on his 64th birthday, Saturday, October 27, 2018.
Born October 27, 1954 in Wilkes Barre he was a son of the late Lois Gwynn Krebs.
Larry was a 1972 graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School and went on to study hospitality and culinary arts at Luzerne County Community College.
Larry had a flare for life and made the best of every day. Quite the character, he could always guarantee a laugh. But enjoyed his “Pop Pop” time with a long walk to just swing with his grandson Jack whenever he got the chance.
His mother, Lois Gwynn Krebs, and grandparents, Harriet and David, preceded him in death.
Larry will be greatly missed by his two sons, Ryan Gwynn and his wife Jennifer of Wilkes-Barre and Jamie Gwynn and his wife Erica in Sellersville; two grandchildren, Jack and Olivia; five brothers, Brian, Phil, Gene, Mark and Scott; stepson, Joseph Sofa of Hanover Township; and other loving family members and friends.
Celebration of Larry's Life will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 with visitation from 6 to 8 PM and a prayer service at 7:30 PM at McLaughlin's, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre.
