Janette Brugler Charters, 53, of Mehoopany died Friday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
Born October 16, 1956 in Toledo, Ohio she was a daughter of Patsy Thomas Brugler of Green Valley, Arizona and the late Jack Brugler.
Jan enjoyed outdoor life with her horses and dogs, and living near the Susquehanna River with her husband of twenty-eight years, Jim. Cross-country skiing, kayaking and fishing were her favorite sports.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother are her sister, Jill Marie Brown of Carson City, Nevada and brother, Thomas S. Brugler of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina.
Memorial donations are preferred and may be made to SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 East Main Street, Fox Hill, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702-6911
