Eleanore Sterling Honeywell, 89, a longtime resident of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022.
Born December 4, 1932 a native of Palmer Massachusetts she was a daughter of the late Albert W. Sterling and Constance Flint Gardner.
A graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Eleanore worked in tax preparation for clients of Jackson Hewitt before retiring and with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program of the CEO until 2020.
A brother, Frank Sterling, preceded her in death.
Her children, Robert and his wife Marie Honeywell of Mundelein, Illinois, Diane Honeywell, Susan Parada, and Kimberly Burke, all of Wilkes-Barre; grandchildren, Donald Honeywell, Dr. Kim Davidow, Anne Lefler, Katherine Burke, and Alex Burke; four great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Hill; brothers, Ralph, Albert, and William Sterling; other family and friends will miss her very much.
Eleanore's family will celebrate her life privately.
