Doris M. Wilkie, 99, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2022.
Born August 29, 1922 in Kingston she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Titus of Forty Fort.
Doris graduated from Forty Fort High School and was employed at Mercy Hospital in Wilkes-Barre until her retirement.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Balliet Wilkie, in 1977; her infant daughter, Sandra, in 1963; her brother, Raymond Titus; and sister, Marjorie Parker.
Doris was a wonderful and loving mother to her children, Donald M. Wilkie, and Peg Wilkie Freeman; grandmother to Brent and Laura Freeman and Heather and Larry Radel; great-grandmother to Isabel and Ava Radel and Esther and Margot Freeman; and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Doris's family celebrated her life privately.
Doris's entire family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Vickie for all of her help and love in caring for Doris throughout the years and to the staff and nurses at Allied Services Meade Street for their compassionate care.
