Barbara Lee Hanahan Onesko, 77, of South Franklin Street in Wilkes-Barre died Tuesday at the home of her daughter Theresa in Rumson, New Jersey.
Born April 27, 1935 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late John and Theresa Haines Hanahan.
Her husband, Charles R. Onesko died May 21, 1971. A sister, Grace Gaughan and brothers, John, Joseph and Robert Hanahan also preceded her in death.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Charles R. Onesko, Jr. of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Theresa McDonough of Rumson, New Jersey and Sheila Strickland of Lansdale; six grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Martin and Eleanor Dougherty; a brother, Gene Hanahan; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be held privately by her family with a Funeral Mass in the Church of Saint Aloysius. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township.
