Zena Slimak Lisowski

Zena Dolores Slimak Lisowski, 85, of Wilkes-Barre died Monday.

Born October 20, 1928 in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Albert and Alice Slimak.

Zena was a member of the Parish of Our Lady of Fatima and former longtime member of the Church of Saint Aloysius.

Her husband Bernard and son, Bernard preceded her in death.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Gordon and his wife Ann Lisowski of Hanover Township; daughter, Doreen and her husband Ray Martinez of Rock Hill, South Carolina; grandchildren, Krysta and Ethan Martinez; other family and friends.

Celebration of Zena’s Life will be held Wednesday at 12:30 PM at McLaughlin’s, 142 South Washington Street in Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at McLaughlin's on Wednesday from 11 AM to 12:30 PM.
